Regional libraries usually have a collection of old newspapers on microfilm. This is actually the best rendition (even over the Internet) that you can view old newspapers, so long as the library has the Scan Pro3000. This new technology makes it possible to zero in on certain areas, and importantly, bring up the text so that you can read it. Newspapers bleed through, so that is an issue.
Be sure and search every page.
