Many Authors Found their Genealogy on Georgia Pioneers.com
J. William Lewis wrote this beautiful 735-page book. I am pleased that much of his genealogical research was discovered on Georgia Pioneers.com. He also used Ancestry-DNA.
Most people spend much of their lives searching for ancestors. This work involves road trips, conversations with relatives, census records, old newspapers, county records, maps, and history studies. This fantastic work includes records in Isle of Wight County, Virginia, with connections in Barbados. Many images of old wills and estates that assist the family in understanding the lineage are included.
I marvel at the detailed research that led Mr. Lewis to reach logical conclusions and tell the story of his family. Many of the early settlers of Virginia also reveal the profound stories that every descendant would love to hear.
